Detroit Design Festival

Identity - March 2015

We were commissioned by DC3, the organization behind the Detroit Design Festival, to create an experience that included an app, website, and wayfinding system based off the festival’s 2015 theme, Fashion. Our goals were to connect DDF patrons with vendors and sponsors, connect them to the festival theme, and to help festival-goers navigate the schedule in a simple and accessible way. In addition, we built a system that emphasized and celebrated the diversity of the Detroit Design Festival’s attendees and encouraged visitors of all ages to participate.

Our final product was awarded 2nd out of 7 projects by DC3, and was selected Best Concept.

What I learned
Working with a team, in a competition against 7 others was very challenging and we had to up our efforts in order to stay unique among the rest.
